Co A. Marsptbn 1966 Feb - Oct 1966 (was going to take discharge and get out - hated stateside duty. But a friend intervened and got me transfered out of there. This really ticked Hqs M.C. Assignment clerks off. They got even later.

TAD to Co C. at San Miquel for 3 or 4 months
but don't remember which ones - think
returned to Kanehoe in Sept or Oct. Waived
overseas control date hoping for Co D,or Co C,
E, etc. Stead got shipped back to Nam
(Those headquarters clerks) .
III MAF, Da Nang, RVN 1968- 1970
1st Radbn, Kanehoe, HI 1970 (Assignment clerks again). Gave up. Was there a few months- took discharge in September.
