JAMES WESTLEY AYERS was born on October 31, 1934 and joined the Armed Forces while in MONCKS CORNER, SC. He served as a 2502 in the Marine Corps. In 10 years of service, he attained the rank of CAPT/O3. On May 26, 1967, at the age of 32, Jim perished in the service of our country in South Vietnam, Quang Tin. You can find Jim honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Panel 20E, Row 110.
