Personal Quote: If Guuny or Top tell us how friendly the local girls are going to be for the short time that we are going to be there when we ask what the mission is......then we better pack extra "stuff". Hobbies: Deer hunting, bass fishing & mowing about 3 ac of grass around my lake house. News: Recently retired from working in the greater Houston area & moved back to SE Texas on the high East bank of the Trinity River in far far NE of semi rural Liberty County close to Lake Livingston on the edge of The Piney Woods & what is left of The Big Thicket. Timber companies are clear cutting the thicket & planting pine trees in rows just like corn. Sad to see from my point of view. Member of the McLemore Detachment(Houston) MCL & active member & elected officer of Romayor VFW Post # 8953 L/Cpl Richard A. Anderson, USMC, Medal of Honor, Aug 1969 I Corps RVN Posthumously. My name sake son is a fireman/emt near Dallas, son Thomas is a 1 st Lt USAF Logistics Engr & my daughter Elisa is a permanent student who is now working on her masters degree @ SHSU in Huntsville. My hardest job is trying to keep up with my widowed mother who is about to turn 84 yoa & still running the roads with senior friends which makes me happy. |
