Egypt, Dendara, Temple of Hathor Hathor, an early Egyptian Earth Mother, often depicted with cow's ears or horns; this is the only face of Hathor we saw that had not been defaced, most likely by the Christian Byzantines if not by earthquakes. 2004/03/27
