Dane Ellis Steele, longtime resident of Sacramento passed away June 9, 2013. Born to Ralph and Esther Steele, both now deceased. Also pre-deceased by step-father, Bill 'Harry' Morris. Graduated from Highlands High School and UC Davis. Earned a teaching crendential from National University and taught in Sacramento area middle schools. Most recently he pursued a degree in music at American River College. He is survived by sisters Lynda Steele (Doug Roberts) and Cynthia Bass. Predeceased by half brother Rue Steele. Memorial service to be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 7801 Ross-wood Dr, Citrus Heights 95621 on Tues., August 27 at 7pm
1. Published in The Sacramento Bee on August 25, 2013 Dane Steele class of 1968 passed away from many illnesses. There will be a service for Dane this coming Tuesday, Aug. 27. Messiah Lutheran Church, 7801 Rosswood Drive, Citrus Heights, Calif.
