Joe was born in L.A. and moved to North Highlands when he was 10 and lived in the Sacramento area for 52 years. He graduated from Highlands High in 1968. He worked for the City of Sacramento Parks and Rec Dept. and had been retired for 7 years. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and golf. Everyone looked forward to getting his hot peppers and tomatoes in the summer. Preceded in death by his father Joe and mother Jane Kichor. He is survived by his brother Charlie, sister-in-law, Ivy, niece Stacy Kichor, nephew Chad Kichor along with 3 great nieces, Anja, Claire, Astrid and 1 great nephew, Owen. They all loved their Uncle Joe. Also survived by his aunt, Rose Stoio. Memorial Mass to be held, 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 22, at St. Lawrence Church, 4325 Don Julio Blvd., No. Highlands.
