| SLAYTON, Ronald Paul Born 11-13-44. Died 1-25-10. Born to Paul and Frankie Slayton, married 39 years to Margaret (Maggi) Slayton, children Ann-Marie (Jeret), Susan and two grandchildren Ella and Claire; brother to Cindy (Art) and Pat. Ron also leaves many other relatives. After serving with the 82nd Airborne, Ron worked for the Department of Education for 35 years. He was a member of the Sac Blues Society. He could often be found watching the 49ers, Giants or Formula One with his beloved dog Shorty. Mass will be held at St. Robert's Church, 2243 Irvin Way, Sacramento 95822 on Saturday January 30th at 11:00 am.
