Personal Quote: Life: "some of it's magic, some of it's tragic, but I've had a good life all the way." Jimmy Buffett. Life: "the going up was worth the coming down." Kris Kristofferson. Hobbies: News: I was released from Marine Corps active duty in Dec. 1973, went to college and law school at the University of Missouri-Columbia and took a direct commission in the Navy's JAG corps in 1981. Served in Subic at the NLSO and then took the SJA's job at NavCommStaPhil, San Miguel where I was the legal officer for two years. Off active Navy duty in Sept. 1984 and stayed in the reserves where I retired as a JAG Commander in 1995. I'm pretty sure my marine shipmates from Edzell would not believe I ended up a retired navy commander. Shit happens, I guess. Have been practicing law in St. Louis and living in my home town of Valley Park, Missouri since getting off active duty in 1984. Have 4 kids in various levels of college, one is in medical school. I stay in touch with many of my Edzell shipmates and remember those days fondly, if somewhat hazily. |
