USMC Travels: Personal Quote: Hobbies: News: Mr. Carpenter passed away Mar 13 1989 of a rare type of blood anemia at the Yuma (Ariz) Regional Medical Center. At the time of his death, Carpenter was a senior detention officer at the Yuma County jail where he had been employed for nearly three years. David was born Aug. 5, 1939 in Nimrod, MN., and graduated from Sebeka High School.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby Carpenter Anderson of Wadena; two sisters, Roberta (Carpenter) Shelstad, Spearfish, S.D.; and Jeannine (Carpenter) Dobson of Minneapolis; and other relatives and friends.
David has served in the U.S Marine Corps for 27 years and was a member of the Corvette Club and the American Legion. |
