USMC Travels: Personal Quote: Hobbies: News: Al Joye - After searching for Bob Dunlap, I have determined that Bob died in 2011 at the age of 75. I served with Bob in 2nd Radio Bn in 1964 and later in Bremerhaven in 1970. Bob was always extremely particular about his uniform, always spit and polish with starched utilities. He even challenged Art Edgette in the art of practical jokes and he was a great handball player. Lots of Marines were recipients of his scribbled anonymous notes provoking them to do something stupid. RIP to a great Marine and a true friend. |
