Cynthia Rhea Hillier, Loving wife, mother, grandmother (NANNY), sister, and friend departed this life on Mother's Day Sunday, May 13, 2018.
She was born August 8, 1951 – Cynthia Rhea Scholz in Denton, Texas to Raymond Vincent Scholz Jr. and Lois May Schoenbrodt (Sherwin).
She graduated from Highlands High School, North Highlands, CA. She attended the University of Houston and moved to San Antonio years later.
She loved Fiesta – A NIGHT IN OLD SAN ANTONIO. She loved La Fogata Restaurant – her favorite for Mother's Day.
She helped her husband for many years with his Stock Brokerage Business.
She was diagnosed with Stage 4 – Carcinoid Cancer in May 2014. She fought hard and realized how precious life and family were to her.
She is survived by her dear husband, Michael Hillier and three children, Liberty Nicholas and husband Dean, William Johnson IV and wife Ashley, and Brian Beyer Jr. and wife Allie. Two stepdaughters Christi Kinsel and husband Bobby, and Jamie Sauder and husband Aaron. Grandchildren, Baker Livingston, Blaire Livingston, Parker Nicholas, Sterling Nicholas, Kate Sauder, Matt Sauder, Gage Sauder, Brian Henry Beyer III, William Marrion Johnson V, and Jaeden Beyer. Great granddaughter Brett Kate Livingston. Additionally, she leaves behind her siblings and their families Raymond Scholz III, Mark Scholz, and Suzanne Stevens.
A Celebration of Life will be held at her favorite restaurant for family and friends.
