Pete Henry Johanson, age 69, passed away on November 19, 2017, from a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Marrel and Erma Johanson and was the oldest of four children. Pete was preceded in death by his father and survived by his wife Janice for 46 years, his son Jeffrey (Stephanie) Johanson, son Brian (Gina) Johanson, and son Christopher Johanson; 9 grandchildren Johnny, Jacob, Joseph, Mercedis, Christine, Kaitlyn, Brianna, Mason, and Paige; great grandchildren Aiden, Luis, Connor, Jack, and Gabriel; his mother, siblings Carol, Pat, and Larry. Pete worked in the electrical engineering field for 46 years and was respected in the industry. Besides his wife, his greatest loves were The Beatles, his best buddy Little Dog, and leisurely walking up and down the aisles of Home Depot with his sons in tow. He enjoyed family bar-b-ques, camping and other outdoor activities. Pete taught his sons and grandkids how to fix cars, work on home improvement projects, and was very proud of their accomplishments.
